IT STARTED WITH A LOVE OF SKIING.

A few university students loved heading to the mountains and figured there had to be other groups who wanted to do the same.

So they started organizing ski trips.

That was the beginning of Backside Tours.

More than 25 years later, a lot has changed. We may have started with ski trips, but today, group travel is what we do.

We plan trips for companies, ski clubs, universities, schools, youth organizations, sports teams and people looking to get out and experience somewhere new.

The destinations have changed.The adventures have grown. But the idea behind Backside is still pretty simple: bring people together and make group travel easier.

We're a group of travellers, planners and Trip Experts who know that a great group trip takes more than booking a bus and a hotel. It takes people who know the details, know the destinations and are there when it matters.

WE DON'T JUST BOOK THE TRIP. WE HELP RUN IT.

We plan the details. We keep organizers on track. We communicate with travellers. We're there at departure. And on many of our trips, our Trip Experts travel with the group, helping coordinate the trip along the way.

Because group travel doesn't always go exactly according to plan—and having someone there who knows the trip makes a difference.
