    Whether you're chasing powder or raising a glass to 2027, here’s what to pack for the best experience:

    Ski & Snowboard Essential
    • Your ski or snowboard gear (tuned, waxed & ready!)
    • Helmet, goggles, gloves/mitts, balaclava or neck warmer
    • Ski pass holder or lanyard if you use one
     Clothing
    • Waterproof ski jacket & pants
    • Thermal base layers & warm mid-layers
    • Après-ski/nightlife outfit(s) – think mountain-casual vibes!
    • Swimsuit for the hot tub
    • Slippers or sandals for the hotel

    Tuesday December 29, 2026
    1030 hrs (MT): Load bus at Edmonton Strathcona Home Depot (6725 104 St NW, Edmonton, AB T6H 2L3 — Park on the east side)
    1100 hrs (MT): Depart for Revelstoke Mountain Resort
    1400 hrs (MT): Calgary pick-ups at the Sandman across from COP (125 Bowridge Drive)
    1430 hrs (MT): Depart Calgary
    1630 hrs (MT): Stop at the AB/BC Highway Overpass for a quick stretch
    1730 hrs (PT): Approximate arrival in Revelstoke at the Sandman Hotel (1901 Laforme Blvd, Revelstoke, BC V0E 2S0)
    Please stay seated until your Trip Experts have handed out the room keys and lift tickets.
    Evening: Settle in, grab dinner, explore Revelstoke, or get some rest before two epic days on the mountain. Please ensure doors are closed to avoid noise complaints.


    Wednesday December 30, 2026
    0830 hrs (PT): Bus departs for the mountain
    Ski/Ride Revelstoke all day!
    Ski/Ride safe and STAY IN BOUNDS.
    1500 hrs (PT): Après Ski at the base of the hill
    1600 hrs (PT): Bus departs back to the hotel
    Evening: Explore Revelstoke’s pubs, restaurants, breweries, and mountain-town nightlife with your crew.

    Thursday December 31, 2026 — NEW YEAR’S EVE
    0830 hrs (PT): Bus departs for the mountain
    Ski/Ride Revelstoke all day!
    Ski/Ride safe and STAY IN BOUNDS.
    1500 hrs (PT): New Year’s Eve Après Ski celebrations at the base village
    1600 hrs (PT): Bus departs back to the hotel
    Evening: Ring in 2027 in Revelstoke! Celebrate New Year’s Eve surrounded by snowy peaks, great people, and unforgettable mountain-town energy. Please ensure to make plans in advance as things sell out quickly. 

    Friday January 1, 2027
    0830 hrs (PT): Tidy room, pack up, and move all gear to your bus
    1000 hrs (PT): Depart Revelstoke
    1300 hrs (MT): Stop in Golden for a bite to eat
    1600 hrs (MT): Drop-offs in Calgary
    1900 hrs (MT): Approximate arrival at Edmonton Strathcona Home Depot
    Make sure you have all your belongings.

  • Backside Tours Disclaimer

    Backside Tours Disclaimers:
    1. Trip Insurance: Backside Tours strongly recommends that all travelers purchase trip insurance.
    2. Responsibility for Injury and Property: Backside Tours is not responsible for any injury, damage, or loss to persons or property during the duration of the package tour. Participants are solely responsible for the care and welfare of their own property, as well as any property they interact with.
    3. Supplier Liability: Backside Tours is not liable for the actions, omissions, or services provided by third-party suppliers such as transportation companies, accommodation providers, or ski resorts. Any issues arising from cancellations, complications, or extensions of the package are not the responsibility of Backside Tours.
    4. Waiver Requirement: All participants are required to sign a waiver prior to engaging in any package activities booked through Backside Tours.
    5. Acts Beyond Our Control: Backside Tours accepts no responsibility for acts beyond its control, including but not limited to acts of God, road closures, equipment failure, vehicle accidents, illness, theft, criminal activity, delays, civil disturbances, government restrictions, or supplier-related issues. Backside reserves the right to modify the itinerary as necessary for the comfort and safety of participants and will inform the Group Organizer of any significant changes. Any refunds will be at the sole discretion of Backside Tours.
    6. Health and Safety Risks: Participation in the package may expose individuals to communicable diseases, including COVID-19. While all reasonable measures will be taken, the risk of illness remains, and participants assume full responsibility for following all required protocols from Backside Tours, suppliers, and governing authorities. Participants knowingly accept the risks of injury, illness, and loss during the tour, including any risks resulting from negligence or misconduct on the part of Backside Tours or its service providers.
    7. Age and Fitness Requirements: Some activities in the package may require a minimum level of physical fitness or skill. It is the participant's responsibility to ensure they are physically capable of engaging in the activities included in the package. Backside Tours is not responsible for injuries resulting from failure to meet fitness or skill requirements.
    8. Room Occupancy Policy
      Room rates are based on full occupancy. If a room is not filled to its designated capacity (e.g., quad, triple, or double occupancy), I understand that the remaining participants in that room must share the cost difference unless otherwise agreed in writing by Backside.
    9. Photographic/Video Release: By participating in the package, participants grant Backside Tours permission to use any photographs, videos, or other media taken during the tour for promotional, marketing, and advertising purposes without further consent or compensation.
  • Backside Tours: The Code to Carve By

    • Respect Fellow Travelers and Locals
    Be courteous to your fellow travelers, hotel staff, and local communities. Your actions reflect on Backside Tours and the experience of others.

    • Safety on the Slopes
    Follow all mountain safety rules, stay within your skill level, and ask for help if needed. Prioritize safety for yourself and others.

    • Hotel and Après-Ski Etiquette
    Respect shared spaces and quiet hours. Party responsibly and ensure that your actions do not disrupt others' enjoyment or cause any damage.

    • Responsible Stewardship
    Leave no trace. Dispose of waste properly, recycle when possible, and treat the environment with care to preserve the mountains for future guests.
  • Forty Six (46) Cancellation Policy 2025/26 Season

    All cancellation requests MUST go through the Group Organizer and will be subject to an administration fee of $50 plus GST.
    • Forty six (46) days or more prior to departure: Is subject to an administration fee of $50 plus GST and any supplier specific charges.
    • Forty five (45) days or less  prior to departure: No Refunds are available to individual participants.

    Individual Participant Replacement Policy:
    • Any replacements will be subject to an administration fee of $50 plus GST.
    • Replacements are not accepted by suppliers within seven (7) days of departure.
    • The Group Organizer must provide Backside Tours, in writing, the name of the participant being replaced and the name of the replacement. If an open trip please contact Backside Tours directly (Groups@backsidetours.com).
