✔Full-day rafting on the Kootenay River - 45 km  of rafting snacks & lunch included. Explore Kootenay River (min age is 5 yrs old)
✔2-night stay at The Approach in Panorama

– Float down the scenic Toby Creek (add-on) Min age is 8 years old.
– Or stay back to soak in the hot pools, sleep in, and wander the alpine village with the crew

     Friday May 30, 2025:

    1230 hrs: Load Bus at the Strathcona Home Depot - Edmonton
    1300 hrs: Depart
    1500 hrs: Pick ups in Red Deer
    1630 hrs: Stop in Calgary at the Sandman across from COP (125 Bowridge Drive) for a bite to eat and stretch.
    1700 hrs: Bus departs for Panorama, BC
    2030 hrs: Arrive atThe Approach  - Panorama
    Upon arrival: Trip Experts distribute keys
    *Please stay seated until your Trip Expert has handed out the room keys
    Evening: Relax, hang out get in a hot tub or hang out in your room (keep noise to a minimum)

    Saturday May 31, 2025:

    Grab a bite to eat-Fuel for the rapids
    0745 hrs: Meet your trip experts in front of the Approach
    0800 hrs: Depart for Whitewater rafting
    1800 hrs: Home from Whitewater Rafting
    Evening: Head to out to the hot pools, enjoy dinner or hang out in your room (keep noise to a minimum)

    Sunday June1, 2025:
    Grab breakfast!
    0900 hrs: Load all gear into designated rooms
    0930 hrs:Meet up at the Panorama Adventure Center if joining the Toby Creek Fast and Fun paddle
    1230 hrs:  Load Bus - Grab a bite to eat in Radium
    1300 hrs: Depart Panorama
    1330 hrs: Stop in Radium for Lunch  (1 hr)
    1430 hrs: Depart Radium, B.C
    1700 hrs: Stop in Calgary at the Sandman across from COP (125 Bowridge Drive) for a quick stretch.
    1715 hrs: DepartCalgary
    1845 hrs: Stop in red deer for drop offs
    2030 hrs: Arrive in Strathcona Home Depot - Edmonton
    (make sure you have all your belongings)

    Please make sure that you have selected the correct occupancy above and entered the Number of Patrons.

    If you select Quad Occupancy  
    Select 3 Patrons(Choose this option to have 4 people in a room)

    If you select Triple Occupancy
    Select 2  Patrons(Choose this option to have 3 people in a room)

     If you select Double Occupancy
    Select 1 Patrons(Choose this option to have 2 people in a room)

    If you select Single Occupancy  
    Select 0 Patron(Choose this option to have a room to yourself)

  • Youth (5-14 yrs) Discount

    Bringing along a young adventurer? We’ve got a special discount for guests aged 5-14 years old at the time of the trip!

    When booking your trip, enter the appropriate promo code at checkout to receive a discount for each youth participant:

    ✅  2youth – If you have 2 youth patrons
    ✅ 3youth – If you have 3 youth patrons
    How to Apply the Discount:
    • Select your trip and add participants to your cart.
    • Enter the promo code after selecting "Add to Cart" before checkout.
    • The discount will be applied automatically.
    Terms & Conditions:
    • The discount applies only to participants aged 8-14 years old at the time of travel.

  • Cancellation Policy 2024/25 Season

    All cancellation requests MUST go through the Group Organizer and will be subject to an administration fee of $50 plus GST.
    • Forty six (46) days or more prior to departure: Is subject to an administration fee of $50 plus GST and any supplier specific charges.
    • Forty five (45) days or less  prior to departure: No Refunds are available to individual participants.

    Individual Participant Replacement Policy:
    • Any replacements will be subject to an administration fee of $50 plus GST.
    • Replacements are not accepted by suppliers within seven (7) days of departure.
    • The Group Organizer must provide Backside Tours, in writing, the name of the participant being replaced and the name of the replacement. If an open trip please contact Backside Tours directly ([email protected]).
