Friday March 27, 2026

• 0630 hrs: Load bus at Strathcona Home Depot (6725 104 St NW, Edmonton, AB T6H 2L3 ) - Park on the east side
• 0700 hrs: Buses depart for Sun Peaks, B.C
• 1000 hrs: Stop in Hinton for a bit to eat and stretch ( Walmart - 900 Carmichael Ln Unit 100, Hinton, AB T7V 1Y6)
• 1045 hrs: Depart Hinton
• 1315 hrs (PST): Stop in Blue River, B.C. at the Grizzly Food Shack (4M5Q+CR Blue River, British Columbia)
• 1600 hrs (PST): Approximate arrival Sun Peaks Mountain Resort - Cahilty hotel & suites (3220 Village Way, Sun Peaks, BC V0E 5N0)

*Please stay seated until your Trip Expert has handed out the room keys and lift tickets.

• Evening: Head out to a Bottoms Bar & Grill or head to the hot tubs, if staying in room, please ensure front and deck doors are closed to avoid noise complaints.

Saturday March 28, 2026

• 0900 hrs: Lifts open Ski/Ride all day
•  *Ski/Ride safe and STAY IN BOUNDS
• 1500 hrs: Meet at the Bottoms Bar & Grill for après ski enjoyment
• Evening: Enjoy
   

Sunday March 29, 2026

• 0900 - 1100 hrs (PST): Pack up and move all gear into day rooms (if late checkout not provided) (day rooms identified on your check in sheets in your rooms or ask your guides
• 0900 hrs (PST): Lifts open Ski/Ride all day
• *Ski/Ride safe and STAY IN BOUNDS
• 1500 hrs (PST): Meet at the Bottoms Bar & Grill  for an Après ski beverage
• 1530 hrs (PST): Bus available for loading
• 1600 hrs (PST): Buses departs for Edmonton 
• 1900 hrs (PST): Stop at Husky/Esso in Blue River, B.C (778 BC-5, Blue River, BC V0E 1J0)
• 2230 hrs: Stop in HInton for a bit to eat and stretch (Petro Canada Gas Station)
• 0215 hrs: Approximate arrival in Edmonton (make sure you have all your belongings)

🎿 Ski/Snowboard Gear  – Bring your skis, snowboard, bindings, boots, and poles if you have them. Rentals are available if needed!
🪖 Helmet & Goggles – Helmets are highly recommended, and goggles are a must for visibility in changing conditions.
🧥 Warm Clothing  – Pack layers: waterproof jacket, snow pants, thermals, warm socks, gloves/mittens, and a toque.
🍻 Après Ski Attire  – Something comfy (and maybe a little flashy) for village strolls, patio drinks, and late-night dance floors.

• Safety on the Slopes

Follow all mountain safety rules, stay within your skill level, and ask for help if needed. Prioritize safety for yourself and others.

• Hotel and Après-Ski Etiquette

Respect shared spaces and quiet hours. Party responsibly and ensure that your actions do not disrupt others' enjoyment or cause any damage.

• Responsible Stewardship

Leave no trace. Dispose of waste properly, recycle when possible, and treat the environment with care to preserve the mountains for future guests.

All cancellation requests MUST go through the Group Organizer and will be subject to an administration fee of $50 plus GST.

• Forty six (46) days or more prior to departure: Is subject to an administration fee of $50 plus GST and any supplier specific charges.
• Forty five (45) days or less  prior to departure: No Refunds are available to individual participants.

Individual Participant Replacement Policy:

• Any replacements will be subject to an administration fee of $50 plus GST.
• Replacements are not accepted by suppliers within seven (7) days of departure.
• The Group Organizer must provide Backside Tours, in writing, the name of the participant being replaced and the name of the replacement. If an open trip please contact Backside Tours directly (Groups@backsidetours.com).
