Booking trips is easy, but it's the decision making that can be difficult.
Some tips for you:
Know your audience. If you are representing a group of people, try to have an idea of their wants, needs and abilities prior to contacting Backside. This includes level of skiing or riding, does the group value privacy at a premium or max occupancy for the lowest rate? This way, we can suggest the best fit for your group.
Pick potential dates. No matter what the activity (ski, golf, surf), different dates will result in different rates. Accommodations and resorts offer discounts for your visit during specific times throughout the year. Off-peak season is best for pricing (IE January and late March for ski resorts) to any destination. Have an idea when the right time to travel is for your group, and let us suggest options.
Know your style. Is price of no consequence? Are you budget conscious? Are you up for a party experience or something more toned down? Letting us know your style will help us create your trip experience.
Start early. The more time you give yourself to organize, the better chance you have of filling your trip. Not to mention, rooms blocks start as early as a year in advance for certain activities (ski trip planning starts in early August). Plus, if you contact us early and book a ski trip before October 30th, you receive a discounted trip on our annual Familiarization Tour in December. For the 2009-10 season we're off to Marmot Basin December 11-13, 2009! Early bird gets first turns.
