Fernie Fantastic

Why is this my fave? ... hmmm? I am not sure if i can sum it all up in one statement, or with one situation. Excellent hill, great terrain, lots of snow, lots of fun natural features for some fun jibbing and playing around. Not to mention, it is known for some excellent dumps! Lots of great on-hill accommodations allowing you to walk right into the village The GRIZZ is an excellent on-hill pub to partay apres ski with some live music, fun people, and BCs BEST nachos! In-town pubs are a tonne of fun too and can really give you that local small-town vibe. - ASHLEY R (Backside Guide)

Fernie Brewing Co

A phenomenol tour of this craft brewery goes down incredibly well after a day of riding the sweet pow of Fernie Alprine Resort. Complete with samples of their legendary brews, take home pint glasses and the opportunity to purchase more swag. These guys obviously take a pile of pride in their brewery and brew. They have a mandate to not "conserve" for Backside groups coming through to see goods. It was a brilliant finish to a great day of pow slaying and a nice kick off to the night! - TOD C (Backside Guide)

The Griz

The Griz balcony is a great way to cool down from a day on the hill. It's on hill and if it's running, people can enjoy a little BBQ on the balcony. A great place to cool down after skiing for a day and a must visit for all who enjoy Fernie. - DAVE R (Backside Guide)

End of the World

A great place to grab a burrito and a Coke while getting your board tuned or waxed. The mexican style restaurant is a good place to grab some quick and inexpensive grub before heading out on the town. Great tune shop and some really experienced techs can fix just about anything you've done out on the mountain. - JT (Backside Alum)
